Flamingo is a hand-tufted wool rug inspired by the tradition of Nordic painting of the 15th century: the theme of the floral still life is taken up and updated by a change of scale that makes it a macro design, a chromatic palette that alternates dark tones with extremely bright tones and saturated colors and a movement that carries the decorative element from the wall to the floor, giving it the same importance.
Flamingo è un tappeto in lana taftato a mano che si ispira alla tradizione della pittura nordica del XV secolo: il tema della natura morta floreale viene ripreso e attualizzato da un cambio di scala che ne fa un macro disegno, una tavolozza cromatica che alterna toni scuri a toni estremamente accesi e saturi colori e un movimento che porta l’elemento decorativo dalla parete al pavimento, conferendogli la stessa importanza.
